Had a lovely stay at Scandic Molde! The breakfast spread was great with everything you could want. My room was spacious with a nice balcony view, but the sound isolation could use some work.

Upon arrival, the bathroom hadn't been cleaned, which wasn't ideal after a long journey. There were also issues with finding parking-the nearby free spots were all taken, necessitating a bit of a trek. The bathroom had a shower in the bathtub, which isn't the best layout for convenience, and the heating control was less effective than desired. Some furniture, like the wooden chairs at breakfast, created a lot of noise when moving, disrupting the meal ambiance. It feels like this place could benefit from some updating, especially the decor and furnishings.

Fine, modern rooms with a balcony, ravishing views and coffee, EXCELLENT position. Location just off the centre of Molde, and the sea and the mountains.

Greatly enjoyed marvellous and perfect breakfast options with bacon, sausages and waffles. The room we had was huge and big size with view on the fjord and the staff was amicable. This reasonably priced hotel had very central setting near the ferry port😃

What they got right and wrong
Breakfast was a good feast! The variety left no room for disappointment. Plus, the reception staff were warm.
Although the bathrooms were clean! There was noticeable discomfort with heating control which left showers less than satisfying.

Huge and big units with balcony out to the water and accessible air and a large sofa, and the staff were amiable. The location was good, for example, Romsdal Museum was at walking distance from the hotel. There were a shopping street and convenience stores around the venue:)))

Very large rooms. View to the harbour. Central location in the city centre. Free parking around the corner.
Although there was a very rich breakfast buffet, the warm dishes were too cold.

On our trip through Norway we had a standard room here with a view of the fjord. Everything was nice and clean. . . Great breakfast with a large selection.
The card locking system takes some getting used to, as the key card must also be used for locking when leaving the room.

amazing, amazing, amazing
The views from my room were fine, showcasing the fjord and snow-capped mountains that define this region. I loved the breakfast buffet with herbed scrambled eggs and a variety of fresh, high-quality items, made each morning a delight. The warm, cute reception staff provided personalized local tips that elevated my stay.

There is no way to communicate with the reception from the 6th floor except phone inside the room. Even alarm button in the main corridor doesn't work(!!!) So, if you are in trouble E.G. in sauna with no possibility to access to the room you can not do anything except to wait for help of some guests from other rooms. 1. You absolutely should add an alarm button in the sauna. And, if possible: 2. Add a direct phone to the reception in main corridor of each floor (or at least in the common hall of suites) 3. If the locks of each door closes automatically - please notify about this! Because each electronic key notice says that you should lock the door manually by insert the card red side. It makes a false impression that if you did not do this the door will stay not locked. And thats false. It will lock automatically (in a 5 min? 10 min? How long will it stay opened?) and you may be in an unpleasant situation being in sauna with no clothes and no connection to the stuff.

Fabulous breakfast, great location, helpful staff (I got discount voucher from the hotel staff beacause of the mold which I found in the bathtub).
I heard some information about the wellness area in the hotel. Apparently, it hasn't been working for seven years already.
